ERGO General Assembly
The General Assembly of ERGO consists of members and associate members. Integro from Bulgaria, Roma Active Albania and Spolu from The Netherlands have registered the ERGO network as a legal entity at the beggining of 2008.
The General Assembly of ERGO has also four associate members. These associate members are EDROM from Turkey, Policy Center for Roma and Minorities from Romania, Tarna Roma from Moldova and Roma Progress from Macedonia.
Board
Liliya Makaveeva, chair
Liliya has a degree in social work and medical care. Works in the field of development of empowerment approaches in Roma communities. Has experience in management of public structures and administration of projects. Has developed case studies on mobilization and structures in Roma communities as well as migration of Roma in Western Europe. Currently she is Executive Director of Integro Association in Bulgaria. Liliya speaks Bulgarian, Romani, English, Russian and Turkish.
Adriatik Hasantari, member
Adriatik holds a degree in Medicine. For the last ten years he has been working in the field of enhancing the participation of the civic society. His main focus of work is to contribute to the development of Roma civic structures in Albania as well as investing in the capacity of Roma citizens to claim their space in society. Tiku has experience in evaluating national Roma policies. He is currently Director of Roma Active Albania (RAA). He speaks Albanian, English, Italian and Spanish.
Ruus Dijksterhuis, treasurer
Ruus is a social anthropologist. She has many years of experience in working with Roma communities and supporting Roma organisations from Central and Eastern Europe and in developing methodologies and approaches for improving the socio-economic status of marginalized groups. She is experienced in management and transparency building within civic organizations. Currently she has the position of Director of Spolu International Foundation in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She speaks Dutch, English, Romanian, German and French.
