The European Roma Grassroots Organisations (ERGO) Network consists of Roma organisations that focus on the Roma grassroots empowerment and mobilisation and promotes active-citizenship awareness. ERGO assesses the dynamics and mechanisms of change and propose concepts and methods that creates the opportunity for Roma to become respected citizens in their societies and to make their voice heard from grassroots up towards the European level.

Our vision

The European Roma Grassroots Organisation (ERGO) is a network of Roma and non-Roma organisations, focused on the empowerment and grassroots mobilisation of Roma. We promote active citizenship as a means of enabling Roma to find a respected place in society. In order to develop a strong Roma grassroots movement, ERGO supports activism and leadership among the Roma at all levels of society. We create opportunities for Roma to have their voices heard.
