ARS
ARS in Novi Sad is run mainly by Roma students from the local university. With support of Spolu ARS concentrated on establishing Roma youth clubs in the regional cities of Zrenjanin, Becej and Subotica. Through a series of trainings, seminars and exchanges, dozens of Roma youngsters were mobilised. Among others, they focused on the issue of participation of Roma children in schools. Other themes they often discussed were Roma identity and role models. Furthermore, ARS is trying to set up a Roma students association in Belgrade. ARS is one of the stronger Roma NGOs in Serbia.
