Democratic Association of Roma (DUR)
DUR is a Roma NGO in Belgrade, which.organises trainings and coaching in 88 Roma communities in the Serbian capital. With the support of Spolu, DUR has been focusing for several years on supporting local Roma women groups and a Roma youth group in the south of Belgrade. Further, DUR used to be active in the field of supporting Roma waste collectors, in order to help them to find a sustainable income. The youth group has been very active in the field of media work; among others they produced a movie about a Roma waste collector. Currently, they are focusing on new members and contacts with other Roma groups.
